The key is to make a mockup of your site in Figma or similar software first, similar to making blueprints for a building. My site is more of a mix of Solarpunk and Frutiger Aero, hence the cozy aspect.

I guess that's because UI design requires way more detail than what most people consider, especially when dealing with more complex apps.

Being detail oriented probably helped me get a good grasp on it.
